To mark the launch of our new High Voltage Design and Testing training portal until the end of October we’re offering our HV Basics training course at a heavily discounted price of only £100 (Normal Price £500). This course introduces the breakdown of gas and solid insulation, how environmental conditions influence high voltage design and discusses the meaning of terms like partial discharge. You’ll try out some calculations as part of the course to get an insight into the design of HV systems in electric transport. This drastically reduced price is in part to ask for a favour in return. aHV are committed to providing a best in class learning experience, and we need feedback from our users to understand how we can improve to make our future courses even better. Leveraging our considerable experience in the development of high voltage insulation systems used in both electricity transmission / distribution and transport applications, we offer a range of training courses. We have delivered our courses to engineers working across the world and continually see an increase in demand given the needs in the sector for skilled personnel.
In 2023 we’ve launched a new online training portal that will allow engineers working across the industry to access our specialist training when and where they need it. In addition to this portal, we continue to offer courses delivered in person at your premises and courses delivered on-line. Our training is typically led by our Technical Director, Ian Cotton, who has over 25 years of experience in high voltage systems and is a member of a range of standardisation committees in both Europe and the USA.
