One of our core competencies is the delivery of high voltage and high current testing. Many of our engineering staff have experience gained within the HV laboratories of The University of Manchester and our work in this area is overseen by our Technical Director. We pride ourselves in not just delivering routing high voltage testing but providing customers with an interpretation of the results. This is especially important when the technical standards that describe the methods for the test of high voltage systems in transportation applications remain in development. We are able to question whether standard test techniques are in fact appropriate for use in these new applications.
We have a diverse range of high voltage and high current sources. Little of our test equipment is ‘off the shelf’ and would not be found in conventional laboratories given the specialist nature of the work we do. Since we formed the company in 2018 we have worked to develop a range of high voltage and high current test sources that, in combination with environmental control, allow us to carry out representative tests.
Alongside these test supplies is a range of equipment for measurement and control. We are extensive users of National Instruments hardware and the Labview platform to carry out repeated automatic measurements that increase the efficiency of our testing but most significantly improves the repeatability of our test results.
Our test equipment is regularly calibrated and we are happy to accommodate visits to the laboratory from our customers.
